Our Team

Rim’s interest in law blossomed from her experience of being a minority religious group in Iran, forcing her family to seek asylum in Australia in 2001 and spend over 3 years in an Australian immigration detention centre. She joined PLAYFAIR as a Paralegal working with our Humanitarian clients and attended task forces in offshore detention centres, while completing her law studies at university. Prior to working at Playfair, Rim worked for 5-years as a Paralegal gaining extensive experience in other areas of law such as, litigation, family law, property, and conveyancing. In 2015 after completing her Associate Degree in Conveyancing, Rim left PLAYAIR to start her own Conveyancing practice. On completing her Bachelor of Law, Rim returned to Playfair Legal as a Solicitor, working on Business Innovation and Investment visas, Humanitarian cases, Judicial Review, Property, litigation, Wills and Probate. Being fluent in Farsi and Arabic is strong advantage not only for her but for our clients who endeavour to create that deeper connection with a lawyer.
