Perry Gouws is a dedicated solicitor specializing in Australian immigration law. Perry built a strong foundation in legal practice beginning her career in south Africa, assisting clients with all aspects of the Points Based System visas, including partners, parents and business visas. After relocating to Australia, she expanded her expertise into complex onshore visa pathways and employer-sponsored migration.
Prior to joining Playfair, Perry gained significant experience in a range of commercial and residential property matters. She was involved in handling all types of property transactions, including residential conveyancing, sales and purchases, and remortgages in New South Wales.
Perry graduated with a Bachelor of Laws – LLB (Honours) Degree from the University of South Africa. Following her arrival to Australia, she completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practices (GDLP) at the College of Law, after completing her Australian bridging studies at Bond University. She was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2022.
With over a decade of experience in immigration law across two jurisdictions, Australia and South Africa, she has successfully acted for individuals and businesses from around the globe. Recognized by clients for being astute, approachable, and passionate about achieving cost-effective results, Perry stands out in her field.
Outside her professional life, Perry’s Italian heritage has instilled in her a love for cooking Italian food, which she enjoys sharing with family and friends. An animal lover and avid cyclist, Perry finds balance and inspiration through outdoor adventures. Additionally, her passion for playing the violin reflects her commitment to precision and artistry.
