Before moving to Australia, Astha practised as a lawyer in India for four years, specialising in Media and Entertainment law, civil litigation, consumer law, and intellectual property rights. Working closely with creative professionals taught her the importance of clear communication, trust, and advocacy — values that continue to guide her practice today.
Her interest in immigration law grew and deepened through her volunteer work at the Immigration Advice and Rights Centre (IARC), where she supported individuals facing complex visa challenges. This experience strengthened her commitment to helping clients navigate Australia’s migration system with clarity and dignity.
Astha holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales and is admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales. She has experience across skilled migration, family visas (parent, partner, and child visas), employer-sponsored pathways, and administrative review matters. She continues to build her expertise in immigration and administrative law.
