Angela Marando is the Head of Corporate and Private Client at Playfair. Her longstanding interest in international law, human rights and its interaction with Australia’s domestic legal framework underpinned a successful transition from a career in insurance law to PLAYFAIR. She is known for her ability to navigate complex legal issues with clarity and practicality, providing strategic advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Working across a broad range of corporate, and private client matters, Angela is committed to delivering clear, outcome-focused solutions while maintaining a strong focus on client care. Her analytical approach, combined with her understanding of both legal and commercial considerations, enables her to support individuals and businesses through challenging and often time-sensitive matters.

Angela completed a Bachelor of Laws and Social Science at the University of Western Sydney and completed a Masters of Global Law at the University of Sydney.
