Jacinta Harris is a junior solicitor working in the PAIS Team representing highly vulnerable onshore refugee applicants. She completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Sydney and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW in 2016. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role, having provided paralegal and administrative assistance to the PAIS Team prior to being admitted as a solicitor.
While working as a paralegal, Jacinta has been deployed on taskforces to Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory, providing assistance in the preparation of TPV and SHEV applications for PAIS clients. Since her admission, Jacinta has been involved in lodging and representing clients with regards to their TPV and SHEV applications.
Jacinta brings a highly developed interest in human rights and refugee law. While at university she worked with the Australian Federal Court’s International Law Program and travelled through Burma and Thailand assisting child refugees.
