At PLAYFAIR, Clare provides advice and assistance to highly vulnerable onshore asylum seekers under the Commonwealth’s PAIS program. This has involved working out of PLAYFAIR’s Dandenong office servicing PLAYFAIR clients in Melbourne’s inner metro areas and regional Victoria.

Prior to this Clare regularly travelled to Manus Island, Papua New Guinea where she served as a Claims Assistance provider at the Regional Processing Centre.

Clare is a co-founder and current Chair of the Law Council of Australia’s Young Migration Lawyers Committee, and plays a vital role in the networking and organisation of young migration lawyers throughout Australia. She also sits on the Refugee Sub-Committee of Migration Law Committee (Law Council of Australia).

Clare has a special interest in international law and assisting migrant victims of family violence. Prior to working at PLAYFAIR, Clare worked for the Erskine Rodan and Associates Immigration Lawyers, the Refugee and Immigration Legal Centre and the Inner Melbourne Legal Centre/ Royal Women’s Hospital, where she provided advice to clients and solicitors regarding family violence and its effect on migrants.
