Amanda is a Solicitor and Registered Migration Agent working in our Humanitarian Migration department, specializing in protection visa applications as well as providing assistance to clients held at offshore Regional Processing Centres as part of her role as Team Leader and Claims Assistant Provider.
She has prepared and lodged applications for TPV and SHEV applicants in NSW and interstate under the Fast Track process, including highly vulnerable clients identified by the commonwealth under its PAIS program.
Prior to this, Amanda worked in our Private Client department representing clients requiring assistance in securing partner visas, general skilled migration and visitor visas. Amanda’s tenacity and in-depth knowledge of the law have seen her successfully overturning visa cancellations, advising and assisting in relation to character issues, PIC4020 issues, assisting clients who have overstayed their visas and are facing the threat of deportation.
Amanda is a great communicator, who loves working with and training colleagues. Her high level of knowledge on international law and country information makes her a great source of mentorship to young and old.
